COMPATH
Erasmus Sport
Project

Our initiative is committed to advancing the education, professional growth, and personal development of young athletes-students (aged 16-25). Through our 'Competence Hub on Sport Innovation,' we aim to contribute to promoting quality, generating new jobs, and fostering innovation in the sports sector.

In accordance with the European Dimension in Sport, which recognizes the substantial potential of sports in contributing to smart, sustainable growth, our project focuses on leveraging this potential to drive smart growth and employment. We plan to achieve this through the creation of reusable, transferable, and scalable results, encompassing educational resources, tools, and a dedicated platform. These offerings will benefit young athletes-students and their educators, facilitating effective education and guidance.

Our project has a broader vision, aspiring to form a community of young athletes-students within the sports innovation domain at the European level. This community, united by shared values, holds the potential to enhance collaboration, quality, creativity, and innovation within sports organizations, aligning seamlessly with the specific objectives of the Erasmus+ program.

The specific aims of our project include developing educational resources that expose young student-athletes to sports-oriented technology, 21st-century skills, the business world, entrepreneurship, and diverse thinking and literacy methods. Additionally, we aim to launch the 'Digital Competence Hub on Sport Innovation,' providing young student-athletes with the skills and competencies needed to enhance their employability in the sports industry.

GASCA
Erasmus VET Project - GASCA

Within the expansive service sector, accommodation stands as a crucial domain involving the daily processing of substantial personal data, including sensitive information. GASCA (GDPR Awareness & Compliance in Accommodation Sector), directs its focus to data users within this sector. Various roles, ranging from hotel management to IT, necessitate the handling of personal data

GASCA's primary objectives revolve around evaluating compliance levels, data practices, and challenges faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the German and Turkish accommodation sectors. This data will inform the development of tailored training courses for data users while providing valuable insights for SMEs, researchers, and policymakers.

Project activities encompass a comprehensive data protection impact assessment, surveys, and interviews with data users in the accommodation sector. The implementation of pilot courses, both in-person and online, will lead to the creation of openly shared online video courses through GASCA's social media channels. A research report consolidating insights will be disseminated on research platforms and GASCA channels.

The GASCA project concludes with the aspiration to not only elevate awareness and compliance levels among SMEs but also to contribute to the overall protection of personal data within the accommodation sector. Through these efforts, GASCA aims to create a more secure and informed environment for data users and residents alike.

YOUTHGEN
Erasmus Youth Project- YOUTHGEN

In the rapidly advancing technological landscape, the YOUTHGEN project addresses the challenges associated with the materialization of individuals' genetic information through technologies like gene editing and genetic forensics. While these advancements offer unprecedented opportunities, they also bring potential risks such as genetic data theft, privacy breaches, and unforeseen consequences of genetically modified treatments. In response to these challenges, the project introduces the concept of "Genetic Rights" – the inherent rights of individuals to protect their genetic data, encompassing privacy, possession, and property aspects of genetic information and materials.

The core issue at hand is the lack of information among young people about how their genetic information may be utilized, stored, and materialized in the modern age. Recognizing the urgency, the project aims to educate and empower young individuals who are the primary beneficiaries of these technological advancements. It underscores the need to equip them with the knowledge and tools required to navigate the intricate interplay of genetics, digital rights, and law.

The project's initiative revolves around providing young individuals with a comprehensive understanding of their genetic rights, considering the implications of technologies such as gene editing, genetic forensics, and bio-banking. This becomes particularly crucial in the context of the ongoing digital transformation of health and care in the EU. The project seeks to empower citizens by ensuring secure health data and providing digital tools that facilitate a deeper understanding and safeguarding of genetic rights.

The YOUTHGEN project overarching goal is to foster a generation well-versed in the protection of their genetic rights, empowering young minds to navigate the complexities of genetics, digital rights, and law in the digital era
